| "I began to work with clay in 1991 strictly by accident. I became fascinated with the slab building method. Constructing 3-dimensional forms with the flat clay pieces became an extension of my search for new surfaces for which to design. The clay forms just became an alternative canvas. I used different methods, but I tried to pull from the same creative reservoir." |
