"Murals are paintings on a wall. The side of a building, an interior wall or ceiling in a home or business are all possible canvases. As a mural artist, I must work within the limits that the space and surface dictates. These issues raise technical and logistical problems that I must solve before the creative process can take place. Once solved, you then begin to explore the endless possibilities and combinations of design, images, color, content, etc. Scale and the integrtiy of the existing surface plays a large part in these decsions. Fortunately, painting on such a scale is challenging and totally exhilarating."
